Over the weekend I traveled to
Cincinnati to run the
Famous Flying Pig 5k. While I was there I searched
out several coffee shops, one of which I decided to visit and write
about. I found this coffee shop to be unique not only for it’s location
but its excellent product.
The Bean Haus is located in the heart
of The Historic Mainstrasse Village in Covington, Kentucky. From the
outside, the Bean Haus appears to be an older building as the brick, restored
structure presents a vintage appearance with an inviting feel to it. The
Bean Haus hosts several rooms to converse over coffee, read, or surf the Internet
in. The Bean Haus provides several specialty drinks, smoothies, and teas
providing everyone with their choice drink.
When drinking coffee, I am big on
atmosphere and most importantly quality through taste. My experience at
The Bean Haus had proved both to be true as the flavor was excellent, while the
atmosphere was inviting.
Music is also and important facet to
the Bean Haus. On Friday nights The Bean Haus usually has performers come and
share their music. My cousin Joel Teeple www.myspace.com/joelteeplemusic
will be playing at the Bean Haus on May 22, 2009 at 8pm!
Next time you visit the
Cincinnati/Kentucky area check out the Bean Haus and know you will find quality
coffee that will help you experience the culture of the Mainstrasse
Village.
“Covering approximately five blocks, the village is a restored
19th century German
neighborhood. The shops
and restaurants are housed in renovated
buildings joined by cobblestone
walkways.”
